need help finding old posts

It seems that some of the older posts are not available any longer?
I can not locate the post that was started by Joe and was regarding rehabilitating his older Arab.
I am also unable to find the post where Dr. Deb describes how to build a drum?
I thought there used to be a link to the archives, but I can't locate the link anywhere.
Thanks in advance if someone can help me out.

I have had trouble finding old threads using the search function, but if I select "popular" and then go back through the pages, the topic will sometimes jump out at me--or, if I knew who was key in the conversation, I will click on "Members" on the forum page, go to that person's name, and click on "posts" to look for it. Here is where Allen Pogue gave excellent directions for a circus drum:

Thank you very much. The drum post is very helpful.
I don't think that the search function is working properly, as I did the search again for 'drum' and the results only go back to June/09.
I did go back and look at ALL of Joe's posts and can't find the one about rehabbing his horse.

The best way to search for terms within a website that doesn't have a search function is through Google Advanced Search.
Go to http://www.google.com, click "Advanced Search" and type in the word/s you want to search for. Under "Search within a site or domain:" enter the site you want to search within. In this case it is: http://esiforum.mywowbb.com.
