After reading Woody and True Collection (and the other Knowledge Base information), I have been looking over Dr Deb's bookstore, following book recommendations on other threads and have quite a list going.

My question is what would be the next best logical choice for reading?

Should I start with the Birdie Book?

The Conformation Series?

Download the back issues of the Newletter?

Something by another recommended author?

I have already read Mike Schaffer's book and have recently started watching the videos on his website. I know his works is often suggested.

I am trying to advance my understanding of...well everything but thought there might be an order that flows better.

Leah, the Birdie Book is most basic, and if I had my 'druthers, people would read that first and work on its main messages first.

Also, just BTW, the Inner Horseman back issues are not downloadable -- everything we currently have comes through the U.S. Postal Service and is on some kind of disk or other.

Thanks very much for your interest -- as Bill Steinkraus used to say, nobody can really be a rider without also being a reader. -- Dr. Deb

Thank you Dr Deb...

I just ordered the Birdie book AND the conformation "set."

I really really want to thank you for all the information you provide. I have having SUCH a wonderful time deepening my understanding of my horse physically, mentally and emotionally.

Your writings plus The Dorrance books have just sent us to a great next level!

So....do I start collecting the back issues of the Inner Horseman next? :-D

Seriously should I just start with 2001 and work through? Would that be the best progression? Or just start with topics that seem most important to where we are now?

I could read books and information like this every day and never grow tired of it.
