I'm going to try to resurrect my macrame skills with the help of a friend. I want to make tack including halters. Anyone try it? Looking for tips.

Darling, there are zillions of books out there on how to make braided horse gear. Look in the Eclectic Horseman mercantile and see if you can find the name of someone who braids leather -- they will be able to direct you best. -- Dr. Deb

I wanted to know tips such as to use yacht cord instead of parachute cord. (Doesn't fade or get as dirty) book they bought if they liked it. I like getting author recommendations. Its all about the author! And their writing/teaching ability. I had my favourite professors in college and my favourite authors in my fiction and non fiction as we do here in our favourite subject of horsemanship. I shall definitely check EH. I was thinking of getting a kit and wonder if kits are worth it.
