Hello, folks: This is the same message I sent out about a year ago -- once again, I'm slated to teach my very loyal, long-term students in New Zealand in the first week of February, 2019. I've been seeing these folks now for over a decade and many of them have not only successfully finished the first horse they started in with, they're on their third or fourth, with knowledge and techniques to take the work and the pleasure from green horse or colt to friend and finished performer.

For many years, I also taught in several different places in Australia. Going to both places saves every student and sponsor money, because the cost of just one intercontinental plane ticket gets split between more participants.

A few years ago, due to circumstances beyond just about everybody's control, all of my Australian sponsors faded out of the picture. One was getting divorced; another suspended her riding in favor of world travel; another was struggling with cancer....and so forth.

We did get a couple of responses the first time I sent out this message, but details did not work out and I am therefore trying again this year. We're looking for one or more people, or groups, in Australia who might like to have a "Dr. Deb" Horsemanship Improvement clinic this coming February. My long-term students will be happy to attest that this event can be a life-changer, not only helping you solve immediate problems with your horse but getting you re-oriented on the meaning of true success.

If you live in Australia and are interested in organizing an event, please contact me: office@equinestudies.org and we'll send further details.

Meanwhile, a most Merry Christmas and happy holiday season to everyone, and my best wishes for the New Year. -- Dr. Deb

Hi Everyone,
It is well worth getting a group of you together and experiencing a Dr Deb Horsemanship Improvement clinic, you don't stop learning about all aspects of horsemanship. The clinics are life changing in how you view horses and you will get to really meet yourself. :-) All very beneficial in our quest to be the very best companion/teacher to our Equine friends.
So exciting you are probably coming to NZ again. Can't wait, I hope it stops raining so I can get out and ride before then!
Merry Christmas
Judy

Please note, I had my dates mixed up....our New Zealand clinic will be the last weekend of February, 2019 so any events we do in Australia would occur in the first half of March.

I know there are folks in Australia interested in our work; this gives some extra time to think about all the organizational details. Prospective organizers should know that we do pay our organizers and sponsors, unlike some of the clinicians out there who seem to expect to get all the background support which it certainly takes, for free.

Cheers, and Happy New Year's from me and all of us at Equine Studies Institute. -- Dr. Deb
