A special thanks to ESI associate Mike Schaffer for his help and wisdom. When I first wrote in on the forum I was desperately needing advice and direction. I was faced with the task of training my young mare for which I had limited knowledge and fear of injury because of the lack of youthful agility.
Mike’s knowledge, patients, and his ability to explain things in a clear concise manner guided me through the initial stages. His two books Right from the Start and Riding in the Moment and his YouTube videos provided me with the knowledge base I needed. I am especially grateful for his non-judgmental willingness to advise me via Facebook. After two months I have started riding my horse who remains calm while steadily progressing towards being the well balanced, confident companion I have hoped she would be.
I have already had one video consultation with him and will be continuing my training with the video e-lessons which he offers.
