I have searched a little on the site and bookstore for good information regarding sensible equine dental care. Can you point me to either information I've missed on this forum or site? Or alternately, suggest good unbiased references?
The reason I ask is that I have recently switched vets for my 12 year old Friesian X American Saddlebred gelding and have been advised to postpone dental work since he had it last year. The vet I'm working with did a brief visual check. My horse has a small overbite. My previous vet was advising dental work at least once per year if not every 6 months.
